Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rap musician with a distinct style. Baker was born to an English Scottish German family in Houston Texas U.S.A., on April 22nd in 1991. The first few years of his life, Baker traveled with both of their missionary parents. His dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed and his mother Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. Then, Baker along with his father moved to Denver which was where they resided with his father's aunt. The other kids of the neighborhood bullied Baker due to his indigence. He has a reputation for blending hip-hop styles that are contemporary and alternative to rock music in his compositions. Baker has recorded four mixtapes during the period from 2007 to 2010 prior to joining Bad Boy Records. This Cleveland rapper, who delivers lyrics as fast as a bullet-train, experienced a meteoric climb in late 2011, after he shifted from self-publishing mixtapes to working with respected labels. After that, his career was on the rise as each albums charted inside the top 10 albums.
